![]() The back of the mouse has the UtechSmart logo which lights up and then the right side is shaped for a comfortable grip. To the left of the buttons is four LED lights that visually indicate what level of DPI you’re currently on. On the top of the mouse you’ll see the scroll wheel but behind it is two buttons with arrows on them for changing the DPI of the mouse. The left side of the mouse has buttons numbered 1 though 12 and they can all be programmed to whatever you need them to or they can just be numbers as they are when it arrives. The cord is about six feet long, it’s braided and it seems durable and well made and at the end is a gold plated USB connection The mouse is black plastic and it’s textured for a good grip and it does seem well made overall. The mouse itself is a bit large at about 3” x 5” x 1.75” at the widest and tallest points. The box is empty as the weights are already in the mouse when it ships. Once you open the box and get things unpacked you’ll find the mouse, user guide, software CD, extra teflon feet and a round box for the weights. I’ve been using the mouse for a while now and I like it a lot, it’s not bad, read on to learn more. The mouse is very configurable with five profile options and virtually an unlimited number of colors to choose from and there’s even a weight kit for even more customization to make the mouse your own. ![]() The mouse is from UltechSmart, it’s called the Venus, and it’s a gaming mouse for MMO type games but you can use it for anything of course. ![]() Up for review today I have a gaming mouse, but this one has lots of buttons, and I mean a lot of them numbering at eighteen in total. ![]()
